Environmental Analysis:

LandQuest conducted numerous environmental studies prior to and during site development and construction of new 7Eleven convenience stores in Vero Beach and Sebastian, FL. Pre-construction analysis undertaken by LandQuest scientists discovered extensive soil and groundwater contamination stemming from historic site activity.

Phase I ESA and Limited Subsurface Investigations prepared by LandQuest discovered high levels of residual gasoline and diesel fuel in onsite soils and in the groundwater table prompting the need for extensive testing analysis. LandQuest field scientists development quarterly monitoring planning and coordinated all field sampling and reporting with Indian River County officials and Florida DEP..

Approximately 100 soil and groundwater samples combined were collected, laboratory analyzed, and later reported in detailed technical documents reviewed by Indian River County and FDEP environmental regulators.

On-Site Stormwater Inspections

LandQuest scientists developed NPDES and FDEP required stormwater pollution prevention plans (SWPPP) in addition to conducting weekly on-site stormwater inspections. These inspections evaluated best management practices (BMP’s) employed on-site during construction activities. Final site inspection reporting was submitted to FDEP Stormwater Management Division for review and sign off.
